So now I'm on JournalFen too . . .
Thanks to red_day_dawning, I now have a JournalFen journal.
Not sure what I'll do with this one just yet, but it's nice to have. If you know me on IJ or LJ, feel free to say hi over there.

Sex
Sex - Sex - Gib mir Sex
Sex - Sex - Gib mir sex

Potterverse Fic -- Poisson d'Avril
Title: Poisson d'Avril Author: Persephone Yavanna the Entwife Pairing/Characters: Lucius, Narcissa, Severus, Peter, Remus, Lily, Sirius, Bellatrix, Rodolphus, Rabastan and Horace Wordcount: 8411 Rating: G for gen (in other words, completely work-safe!) Warnings: None, to my mind, but hints of femdom and mild language might offend the more sensitive souls Disclaimer: JK Rowling and assorted others have rights to create derivative works within the Potterverse, but I am not one of those licensees, unfortunately. Rather not be sued for playing with the characters, though . . . not making a profit here, just exploring the characters and situations created by the esteemed Ms. Rowling. Summary: Severus gets some unexpected help in turning the tables on Sirius Black Author Notes: The title comes from the French term for April Fools. This is also my first Marauders-era story.

Warnings: None Disclaimer: JK Rowling and assorted others have rights to create derivative works within the Potterverse, but I am not one of those licensees, unfortunately. Rather not be sued for playing with the characters, though . . . not making a profit here, just exploring the characters and situations created by the esteemed Ms. Rowling. Summary: One of the things Remus had missed most about his time as Dark Arts professor was the children. Author Notes: Happy Birthday Remus!

Movie!Fenrir brings new meaning to the term "WOOF!"
Dave Legeno has been cast as Fenrir Greyback, according to his management company's webpage. You can see more pics of him here in this article. Speaking only for myself, I think he's a most drool-worthy choice for the Wizarding World's bad-boy werewolf. ~~likes "rough trade" ~~

And now I've had my posting access removed as well as my post . . .
As a follow-up to my prior post, the mod deleted the post and has also decided to remove my posting access. That was completely unnecessary, since I could have posted a link to unlocked G-for-gen fic housed here and still been within that community's rules.
This only confirms my reasons for not wanting to post my fics in their entirety to any community.

I have good reasons for what I do
Just got a set of comments from from the mod of a community I posted an entry to that had a link to Wolf at the Door. She told me I had to post the entire story to the community, or my post would be removed.
So I guess it's going to be removed, even though I'd explained to a prior commentor why I had an f-locked post in an f-locked community. (That explanation being that that community is not the only one to which I made a post about this tale which is housed on my personal IJ and some of these communities do NOT have age-restricted membership. On my profile I give the IJ FAQ # and TOS section that form one of the reasons I f-lock my stories rated higher than G-for-gen. My stories are posted in full ONLY in my personal IJ, NOT in any communities. Communities only get a link to the post -- which is an f-locked one if it contains NWS material.)
As an author, I want to have control over where my fiction shows up and when I post to a community, I don't, since the mod can remove posting access from me at any time. If I do not have posting access, then I cannot edit the post. So if I decided to remove the story, I cannot. If I wanted to remove the story and put in a link to it, I cannot. If I want to change a typo, I cannot.
THAT is why I post ONLY to my own journal. I refuse to allow someone else the power of who can and cannot see my fic, especially if said fic contain NWS material.
I have VERY good real-life reasons for restricting the access to my adult fiction. If someone cannot respect that, well, so be it.
It would have been nice to have posted further parts to that storyline to that community, but it seems that's not going to be happening, now or in the future.

Potterverse Fic -- The House-elves’ Dilemma
This piece has been written for luciusfqf's Lucius Malfoy Fuh-Q-Fest.
Title: The House-elves’ Dilemma Author: Persephone Yavanna the Entwife Pairing/Characters: Lucius, Narcissa and assorted house-elves (contains OEC -- Original Elf Characters) Wordcount: 1422 Rating: G for gen (in other words, completely work-safe!) Warnings: None Disclaimer: JK Rowling and assorted others have rights to create derivative works within the Potterverse, but I am not one of those licensees, unfortunately. Rather not be sued for playing with the characters, though . . . not making a profit here, just exploring the characters and situations created by the esteemed Ms. Rowling. Summary: Written for the prompt Dobby has gone, set free by that blasted Potter boy and his loathsome sock. Lucius is devastated beyond words. Author Notes: I'd planned on writing something along these lines for a while, but had never done so. This fest gave me a reason to tell things from the house-elves' point of view.

I'm reviving my fiction LiveJournal
After the fiasco of having more than half the posts here lose all their comments and all but ONE story lose all the squee that had been posted, I've decided to start using my fiction LiveJournal again.
I wish now I'd coughed up the cash for that account to be permanent, but at the time the sale occurred I'd wibbled and instead bought an InsaneJournal permanent account, which right now looks like a complete waste of cash, given the repeated problems with the site. The only good thing here was having 300 iconses to play with, but if they sell permanent accounts there again, I'll get lots more icons to play with then. I can be patient . . .
So expect to see me reposting my ficcage there, including the gen stories that were originally housed at my original and main LiveJournal, just because I'd like to have all my stories in one place. I haven't decided yet if I'll have the gen stories be public or if I'll f-lock them too.
I also haven't decided yet if I'll abandon my IJ or not. There are a few IJ fests I'd said I would write things for and I'd rather not reneg on those tales. There are also a few writers who now post either mainly or exclusively to InsaneJournal, so I'll likely keep using it, at least for commenting, since I paid for the damn thing already and I'd like to get SOME use out of it. I also haven't decided if new works will be posted on LJ only (where frankly they have a wider potential audience) or if I will cross-post them to my IJ.
Decisions, decisions, decisions . . .

My comments are missing again -- from 13 more posts!!!!!
I just discovered my IJ has lost even more comments from even more posts -- 13 new posts and 15 in total. Since I only have 28 posts here (including this one), this means that more than HALF of the posts I have made here have had IJ eat the comments, in some cases repeatedly. And of the 7 stories I have posted here, only ONE (Sleeping Beauty and the Beast) still has its comments -- all the rest have had their comments et, and A Tasty Little Crumpet for the SECOND time!!!!!
Bugger InsaneJournal being fandom-friendly. I just want a place where my posts keep their comments. This is clearly not it!
~~ regrets having paid a single penny for this account ~~

My comments are ded X_X
The comments to Wolf at the Door are now all gone -- obliviated, as I expected they might be. This is the fourth time this has happened to me, and the second time stories have been hit, where I lost all comments from readers.

IJ is eating my comments -- AGAIN!!!
Yet another of my entries has had all the comments eaten after someone posted a new comment. The subject, mood and music all disappeared as well and the userpic reverted to my default icon. This isn't the first time it has happened to this entry (http://theentwife.insanejournal.com/263.html) either. (See here and here.)
In addition, I cannot reply to the comments to Wolf at the Door, as I get a 404 error when I click on the reply links to any of the comments there, saying that 6651.html doesn't exist, even though the post itself obviously is still there. Given the problems with my sticky-post's comments being eaten, I wouldn't be surprised to see the comments for this entry vanishing either, or all the comments on any of my other older entries.
I know people like to squee about how friendly IJ is to fandom, but I am less than thrilled with its performance, especially with an issue that has been occurring over and over and OVER again for MONTHS to me as well as other users and which they acknowledge they know about -- yet do NOTHING to correct. I paid for a permanent account here, yet get a site that breaks over and over and over again.
I want to see some FUNCTIONALITY -- RELIABLE functionality. LiveJournal, whatever its policy issues might be, at least WORKED.

Delectably delicious holiday Fenrir fic for ME!!!! :D
the_con_cept has just written the most fantabulous Christmas-themed Snenrir ficlet for me, Christmas Condiments, with the prompt I had given her of Mistletoe and plum pudding are not usually part of a werewolf's Christmas celebrations -- especially if said werewolf is Fenrir Greyback.
This story is yummy in so very many ways -- I just adored squeaky, terrified Draco and cranky Fenrir, so very not in a holiday mood. Scrumptious Snapage as well . . .

So very, very, very NOT a NaNoWriMo winner . . .
Due to various real-life stuffage and my Fenrir-muse taking an extended romp through the Forbidden Forest, I really haven't written anything since the first day of NaNoWriMo. The site being balky and not letting me in to post my word-counts helped derail me at the beginning, then other stuff came up and . . . and . . . and . . .
I guess I'm just not good at writing to a schedule.

How You Know You're Reading a Fic by Persephone
Gakked from innerslytherin:
10. It has at least one Death Eater in it
9. If it has only one werewolf in it, there is a 99.9999% chance it's Fenrir
8. Male characters are bi in orientation (even if their main relationship is hetero and they generally prefer females)
7. Married couples are open to adding another male for threesomeness fun
6. There is an age-gap relationship (usually between an older woman and a younger man)
5. The Malfoy family is loving and takes good care of its friends
4. Fenrir enjoys making the first move -- and the other person likes that about him
3. The men enjoy fem-dom
2. The Death Eaters look out for one another and treat one another well
1. Someone has a secret (or not-so-secret) thing for werewolves, bondage or licorice (and often all three)

A slow start to NaNo
As mentioned in a previous post, I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year, continuing and expanding A Tasty Little Crumpet. I wrote a little bit of this new section earlier in the evening and had the devil's own time trying to get into the NaNo site to upload my excerpt and word count. It took me an hour to get into my profile, which meant yesterday's wordcount got posted as today's, since midnight had passed while I waited for access to the site. I had a whole 95 words written at that point, since upped to 252.
I could include the finished wordcount of the story I'm expanding in my total, but I won't -- at least, not until the end of NaNo, especially if it will nudge me over the 50k word mark. I don't think I'll get anywhere near that, but it is theoretically possible I might "win", albeit unlikely. I'm mostly using NaNo as a way to nudge myself to work faster than I usually do. (Lame snail, mostly.)
I didn't see any of those little wordcount widgets on the site, nor the day-by-day progress chart. I like those and I wish they were back. I enjoyed seeing the little meter increase and showing it off in my blog. It's a trivial thing, but I do miss it.
